Listing of Current Alliances

Alliances are subject to change, and any countries with a /name mean that they have a hidden village of that name on their land, with the exception of Nadeshiko which is only their village.

The Kage Alliance is what Obito put in place with the Travel Seal Network, and that dragged in a few smaller countries who had been Allies to them predating their larger treaty.

The Unified Alliance, which is composed entirely of smaller countries that do not have Kage, and have been actively recruiting over the last year, attempting to sway other countries to their cause. It is to be noted that there is no formal treaties between these countries, as the entire thing is set up on temporary treaties between select countries in a staggered pattern.

Neutral Nations are what it says on the can. These countries either know, and refused to participate in the Unified Alliance, or were not approached at all. They are also countries that have no overt binding treaties to any of the Kage nations.

Timeline

After Game Start - Year 1
OCTOBER
		KONOHA	Uchiha Military Police step up security following attack on Adela, including stricter village entry/exit requirements and increased frequency of patrols.
After Game Start - Year 2
FEBRUARY
	26	KONOHA	Itachi abdicates from his position as Uchiha Clan Heir; Fugaku decides to keep this secret until he has an heir chosen.
MARCH
		KONOHA	Uchiha Military Police step up security again following the body-stealing fiasco, including random identification checks on shinobi within the village, harsher (and annoying) entry/exit requirements on civilians and ninja, and yet again higher frequency of patrols.
APRIL
	02	KONOHA	Uchiha Fumiko's parents are discovered dead by Sasuke and Neji.
	16	KONOHA	Sasuke is captured by the small-village alliance (Unified Alliance).
	29	KONOHA	Obito receives word from Itachi that Sasuke is being held close to Suna.
		SUNA	An urgent plea for assistance is sent to Suna, and Tenten is deployed to assist.
	30	SUNA	Temari and her brothers, Kankuro and Gaara, accompany their father and Kazekage, Rasa, as he sets out to Alnokura meet with the Daimyo of Wind.
MAY
	01	SUNA	On the way to Alnokura, Temari and Rasa are ambushed. Gaara and Kankuro arrive to assist, but they only manage to save her in the attack, and the Kazekage dies.
	02	KUMO	An attempt is made to assassinate the Raikage, but it fails.
		SUNA	Temari, Kankuro and Gaara arrive back in Suna to give their village the grave news.
	03	KIRI	A group within Kiri manages to create an opportunity for Yagura to be killed, leaving the village in immediate need of finding a new jinchuuriki. Kisame and Nanako are the first on the scene to deal with the situation before the bijuu escapes, and seal it inside of Naoki, while Sephiroth deals with the culprits and the internal spies planted in order to pull off the assassination. Kisame and Nanako are placed in a position of power.
		SUNA	In an effort to demonstrate stability, Suna sends Gaara, Kazue and Tenten out to rescue Sasuke as planned, albeit a little delayed.
		KONOHA	In Konoha, a kidnapping attempt is made on Rin, Hinata and Konayuki. Fugaku, Adela, and Neji handle the bulk of the rescue.
	04	KIRI	The unstable situation in Kiri continues due to the civilian pressure and internal strife between bloodline users and non-bloodline users. A successful assassination attempt is made on the Daimyo of Water. Yuffie is pushed to deal with the situation being the niece of the Daimyo. Kisame is implicated as the culprit of the assassination.
		AME	Lee is caught up in an Ame attack, but is rescued by Juugo before he can be kidnapped. The borders of Ame go on lock-down. Dealing with the village becomes difficult. Trade isn't cut, but a heightened level of suspicion exists toward anyone unknown. Numerous skirmishes occur. Juugo and Nagato (along with all his Paths) are prominently seen around the borders.
	05	IWA	In Iwa, a false assassination attempt is made to distract the Tsuchikage's forces while his apprentice is kidnapped.
		KIRI	Yuffie is named Daimyo.
	06	SUNA	Rasa's funeral begins.
	07	SUNA	Rasa's funeral ends.
	08	KONOHA	Sasuke's mission report is submitted, covering the events from his capture to his rescue (April 9th - May 3rd).
	10	KONOHA	Sasuke is released from quarantine and placed in hospital.
	11	KONOHA	On the way to a mission in Wind, Kakashi is intercepted by an unknown opponent. The two fight, but ultimately Kakashi loses and his sharingan is taken. As far as he is aware he managed to blind the eye before it was stolen. Gai retrieves him and takes him back to Konoha, where he is hospitalized.
		SUNA	Kankuro is named to be Godaime Kazekage, but the news is kept very quiet until the official ceremony.
	14	KONOHA	A Konoha envoy is sent to Suna to assist in any way they can. This team consists of Tenten, Adela and Neji.
		SUNA
	15	SUNA	The inauguration ceremony begins, and Kankuro is finally officially named Godaime Kazekage.
	17	KONOHA	The Konoha envoy in Suna returns home.
		SUNA
	19	UNIFIED ALLIANCE	A message appears.
	27	UNIFIED ALLIANCE	A second message appears.
JUNE
	3	KONOHA	Konoha is attacked with paperbombs.
	7	KONOHA	A Propaganda Flier begins circulating around the areas of the Five Big Nations.
